The Postal Department requested the City ,to open Roscoe Avenue, $~om Nugent t-o BroHnaell, s• that they may give house to house mail d®l.ivery to homes i.n that section. They claim that in order to give this house to house delivery, that Roscoe would hav® to be opened. Hoxever, on discussion it Was foubd that by • reading the dedication on maps ,that Roscoe xas a dead end streets and had never been epeaed. Mayor Burgin appointed Goorge Traylor, Chairman of the Seal Estate Board, for the purpose of encasuraging alevelopment im this area, anal xorking x~.th interested parties in acqui,cing pr®perty.
