The Postal Department requested the City ,to open Roscoe Avenue, $~om Nugent t-o BroHnaell, s• that they may give house to house mail d®l.ivery to homes i.n that section. They claim that in order to give this house to house delivery, that Roscoe would hav® to be opened. Hoxever, on discussion it Was foubd that by • reading the dedication on maps ,that Roscoe xas a dead end streets and had never been epeaed. The Coam~ission, hoa~c~rer~ agreed to turn this natter over to the City Attorney four further stuffy. Mayor Burgin appointed Goorge Traylor, Chairman of the Seal Estate Board, for the purpose of encasuraging alevelopment im this area, anal xorking x~.th interested parties in acqui,cing pr®perty.
