9:00 A. IVt.
Special meeting of the City CorrmLi:ssion was called t o order by Mayor M.D.
Burgin, with the following members and city officials present: Commissioners
L. R, Rigby and H. P. Pfeiffer, and City Clerk J. E. P~Zuldoon.
The purpose of this meeting was to award the bids on the chassis and body for
the garbage department.
Motion by Pfeiffer, second by t~igby, to award bid on chassis to Mc Millan
Chevrolet Company in the amount of X1,876.90.
Carried.
Motion by Rigby, second by Pfeiffer to award bid for packer-type body to the
S outh Texas Equipment Company, in the amount of X3,915.00•
Carried.
Motion by Pfeiffer, second by Rigby, to reject all other bids on the chassis
and bock.
Carried.
There being no f urther business, upon motion by Pfeiffer, second by Rigby,
the meeting adjourned,
Carried.
