S.Crate, Jr., and I:lr. Geo. Tra~rlor appeared before the Con~rnissi_on, and asked them to participate in paving Nugent Avenues from Park Drive to ?~oscoe. The Com~ni.ssion unanimously agreed to pave this section of IvTugent Avenue, if I,2r. Crate would finish them ti^rith a lettcsr stating that his com- pany ~rould participate in the cost of this paving, up to ~7~0.00. A cti.scussion was held on furr_ishing the n^~rr S,ylva~n Beach Park ,^rith ti^rater., and to set a r~:te for same. It was decided to postpone action on this matter anti 1 the City's ~~.uditor h~ ,d computed the actual cost o f water to the City. I~:x. Sandberg of the Shoreacres City Council, appeared befcre the Cor.~ission and stated th~.t his Council had set up an item of X120.00 in their Budget, to be paid to the City of La Porte, or the La Porte Volun- teer Fire Department, in appreci a.tion for ans~rering fire alarms in the City of Shoreacres. The Corunission thanked T;~. Sandb~xg, and a.s.Ked 1-iim to mail this amount direct to the Fire Department, for tl~eir ':'lelfare Fund.
