", Regular meeting of the City Commission was called to order by P.?atyor I~BD.
Burgin, with the following members and city officiad.s present : Commissioners
,~ ~ L.R. Rigby and Ho P. Pfeiffer, Special Counsel Jno. S. Kiibler, and City
Clerlt Frank G. Baker. Also present were Jim Ho11,p, Houston Post Reporter,
• lt~s. ti?s A. Stabs, Chronicle Reporter, Fern Samford ar~d Cherry Black.

A proposal from the Texas 'hater T'Tells, Inc., was postponed until the next
regular meeting.
Tt,otion by Rigby, second by Pfeiffer, that Pi Lombda Chapter of Beta Sigma
Phi be granted permission to hold a turkey shoot on November 17th' under
the supervision of Police Chief Russie Es Jacobs.
Carried.
Motion by Pfeiffer, second by Rigby that the City Clerk be authorized to
purchase a locker for the Police Department.
Carried.
Motion by Pfeiffer, second by Rigbya that the City pay that portion billed
by Harris County for Air and 1fJater Pollution.
Carried.
