P~egular meeting of the City Commission was called to order by Mayor Pro-Tem John
D. Lawler, with the f ollowi.ng Commi.ssionexs presenv : Odell Braavn~ Tom- Osburn, and
Frank R; Boyle. Also present were Special .Counsel John S. Kiibler, Supt. of Public
ti'Vorks VIf.A. Arthur, and City Clerk T'rank G. Sakes. -
Also present were mss. Stabs (Press), Dick Cunningham (City), Charles D. Boyle
and Chas: Brown.
bar. Tom 1~. Osburn and Ate. Frank R.Boyle were given the Oath of Office by City
Clerk and Notary Frank G.Baker.
Motion by Brown, secorri by La~rler, that Ordinance No. 535, be adopted as read.
The caption of such adopted. ordinance reads as follows:

Motion by Brown, second by Boyle, that Ordinance No. 536, be adopted as read.
The caption of such adopted ordinance reads as follows: "

Mr. Rigby talked to the Commission about the vaccination of dogs in the City.
The ordinance on this ite~a was discussed. Tt was unanimously decided to pub-
lish in local newspapers an article asking publicts help.
Id1r.Arthur discussed the policy of the City as exists nor, on laying ®f water and
sewer lines, as to new construction. Suggestions from the Co~ni.ssion was requested.

Motion by Boyle, second by Osborne that nex t regular meeting be held at
10:00 A. M.~ May 16th, 1958. _

rtlr. Boyle requested permission to be appointed Hospital Chairman, and will
report back to Commission at next regular meeting,
Carried.
Mayor Pro-Tem Lawler was asked to check into the nuisance that is being
created by the popsicle wagon.
Mr, Boyle discussed a request from a citizen c®ncernin~ the riding of
bicycles on side~ralks.
City Clerk Frank G. Baker was requested to contact a Karpark meter
representative to be present at the next meeting.
Motion by B®yle~ second by Brown, that the meeting adjourn.
