Pfeiffer, with the following present: Commissi®ners Brim, Boyle, Lawler and Osborn, Special Counsel Jno. S. Kiibler, Supt. ?~.A. Arthur, and City Clerk Frank G. Baker. Also present were A'1r. Ernest Broom, J, 0. Hollins, Dennis Dunham, Tom .4da~rs (Press), Jae Hill, Curtis AZorris, Al Kohler of Hedrick e Stanley, Engineers, and Jiro Mousner (Press). AZnutes of trc last regular and one special. meeting were read and approved. Carried. ?~®tien by Osborn, second by Ftrcrrm, that the motion made authorizing permit t® be issued to Mr. P. B. Brov+rn, which was done a.t a. meeting on August 7, 1959, to build a metal building in the F`ixe Zone, be recinded. Carried. Violations of the building code in the fire zone wa.s discussed at length. A4oti~n by Boyle, second by Osborn, that City attorney be authorized t© file charges against Jay ?~arlss and P. B. Brarvrn, fc~r f~ ding t® comply with build- ing ®rdir_~,nce in the sire Z®ns, C2.rried, AZr, Kehler was auth®rized tc proceed at once with securing plans and specificatidns and bids on elevated tank and tourer, also t• proceed with plans on addition t® the City Ha11 and Fire Station. A~otien by Bra~m, second by Lawler, that the La Porte Insurance ~~ ~;ency ~~rrite the liability insurance ®n citS- equipment and retain 60~ of commi.ssivn, and divide 40~ with the Bill Jones Agency and ti"Tillard Long Agency, 2pj~ to each.
