Special meeting of the City Commission was called to order by P,4ayor H. ~.
Pfeiffer, ~riti? the follo~•ing nes.tbers present : Commissioners Lawler, Osbazrn,
and I3rorrn, City Secretary 1?aker, and Texas Bayshore Corporation Developers
Jones, ?'rri„~'ht, TFock, ?fJhite, and Engineers Byn~ and Broyles.
The purpose of this i_tieeting was to discuss the Bay t.4eadows Subdivision, for
City approval of Improvement Dravrings,
I:fter discussion, the following changes and reco*.~~endations here approved:
A . S anit rs~y Sewer :
1. Lift Station:
a, City approved - v~rants to revietir detail drayrings and specifications
when available,
b. L~" puisp required.
c. Force main: 6" preferred but City ti~rill approve ~." as shcnvn.
2, Present so<rrer G all right as 6" as sh~rm rather that chano2 to 8" as
previously requested,
3. Present b" server on 16th St. from sewer G to C to be changed to °".
~.. Developer to obtain .alternate bias for server on 16th St. to determine
difference in price bet?veen 8" shcrr~rn north of Sevrer N and a 10".
City nay elect to require the installation of a 10" sez^rer all the way
on 16th St. far additional future capacity and reimburse the Developer
for the additional cost as determined frori the bids.

1, System as shovrn on drayrings approved.
2, Developer must provide service line to each lot. x.4ethod used is left
up to the Developer, One :~ethod suggested by the City as satisfactory
to the: is the installation of a 1" service line ~ro::1 the grater :gain
under the pavenent ~d capped, One such line can serve two lots.
City vrill tap this line or install fittings on e nd to install :peters.
C. Drainage a rgi Paving:
1. Paving approved as shown,
2, Re-routing of present ditch draining to south on 16th St, to new
location on east side oflLth st. is satisfactory as shaven.
3. Ditch from intersection of 16th and North H north to Flood Control
Ditch on Dtorth L:
The City considered that, due to the depth of this ditch,
it 7.vould be objectionable when 16th St. is extended North
from. North H to Plorth L and the property in this block
developed. The City therefore requires the extension
by the Developer of the storm se:-rer from. its proposed
terminus at Dtorth H to North L when this section is
developed and tre storm surer syste:~ on 16th St, from
Crystal Eay Z°Tay north is installed.

The Developer indicated that it is planned to develop
the portion of the subdivision lying south of Crystal
Bay •t~ay before developing the portion to the north of
Crystal Bar ~Yay.
The City agreed that the installation of a ditch of
about 3- in depth on each side of lbth St. fro: I~'~.ir
Lane north on lbth St, to the Flood Control Ditch
on North L would be satisfactory as a drainage out-
fall until the Developer reached the sts~;e of the
development when t'ne storri serer system beginning
at Crystal Bay Z?ray is required.
