Special meeting of the City Cd~ission was called to order by Mayor H. P. Pfeiffer, with the following members present: Commissioners Brawn, Boyle, Osborn and Lawler, Supt. W,A. Arthur, Special Counsel Jno. S. Kiibler, and City Clerk Frank G, Baker. Motion by Osborn, second by Brown, that the application of Rufus Smith be granted on reconaeendation of the Zoning Board. Carried. Motion by Lawler, second by Osborn, that the plat of Bay Meadows subdivision be accepted. Carried. RESOLUTION BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COM~dISSION OF THE CITY OF LA FORTE, TEXAS, THAT: Said City does hereby app rove the map or plat of "Bay Meadows," a resubdivision of Lots One (1), Two (2), fourteen (lit), Fifteen (15) and Sixteen (16 ), Nebraska Syndicate Outlota, La P©rte, Harris County, Tex as, in accordance with the map or plat prepared and • certified by Broyles, Bynum & Doyle, Inc., Engineers, designate) as File 9013, Map No. 119-0, as well as the dedication; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the said City does hereby release and relinquish all previously dedicated streets and alleys within the bounds of the said Bay Meadows Subdivision. AND IT IS SO ORDERED. Mr. Carlos Smith submitted the paving and storm sewerage program to the Commission. Some minor corrections were made, and Mayor Pfeiffer asked Mr. Smith t® proceed with changes and submit plans to Flood ContrAl District. All of the Commission were in agreement ~on ,the changes. The next item taken up was the swimming pool, This item was discussed in all phases, for about two hours, It was finally decided to proceed with plans as submitted by Engineer, by motion of Boyle and second by Brown. Carried. Motion by Lawwler, second by Boyle, that the following Resolution be adopted: RESOLUTION • BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION 0 F T HS CITY QF LA FORTE, TEXAS, THAT: The City of La Porte sell that certain two (2) story frame garage apartment building, together with the attached garages, owned by the City of La Porte, and situated on the City Hall site properi~y i.n B1 ock Na.
