LA PORTE CITY COI~dISSIOAT -AUGUST 27,1960
Special meeting of the City Cc~nmi.ssion was called to order by Mayor H. P.
Pfeiffer, with the foLlovring members present: Commissioners Brown, Osborn,
Stabs arid. 33unham, and City Clerk Prank G, Baker.
Also present was John S. Kiibler.
Mr. Kiibler talked to the Commission pertaining to interest that the bank can
pay to the City on funds that are in the Interest and Sinking fond. and other
funds Mr. Kiibler discussed the interest rates on the funds of the City
and. the Oommission was not entirely in accord with Mr, KiiblerTa proposition,
and suggested that Mr, Kiibler talk to his Board pertaining to the differences,
and than report back to the Commission.
The insurance program of the City was discussed at length. The Commission
decided to wait ants.]. next regular meeting to make a decision.
Motion by Stabs, second by Bro~rn, that the meeting adjourn.
Carried.
