LA PORTS CITY COH~ISSION -SEPT. 6, 1960

Special meeting of the City Crn~mission was called to order by ~dayor H. P.
Pfeiffer, with the following members present: Osborn, Brc~ovn, Stabs and
Dunham, Attorney Pitman, and City Clerk Frank G. Baker.
Motion by Stabs, second by Brown, that meetings of the City Commission be
set for the first and third Thursdays of each month, until fur ther notice.

!°~~~ Mayor Pfeiffer opened the discussion pertaining to the PYxe Zone Ordinance.
~''~~' Motion by Osborn, second by Stabs, that Commissioner Osborn be authorized to

purchase a complete impeller and casing assembly for existing pump at H
,~ Street lift station, for X531.50.
~~ Carried.

Motion by Brawn, second by Stabs, that T.B. Trotter be notified that audit
„ should comply with System Bonds dated Larch 15, 19Lt$, accounts and periodic
~'" statements.
Carried.
The parking situation at the neap stadium was discussed. Commissioner Stabs
E.~ stated that he would work out the problem with the school officials.
Attorney Pitman was instructed to proceed with negotiations on clear zone
on N/~ end of runavay at Municipal Airport.
Motion by Stabs, second by Dunham, that the radius on the intersections be
extended with concrete to the back side of catch basins. (To be paid out
of Permanent Street Bonds).
Carried.
Motion by Stabs, second by Dunham, that Secretary contact 9Pyatt C. Hedrick
for Janitrol Type gas heaters prices.
Carried.
Lotion by Dunham, second by Brown, that the meeting adjourn.
Carried.

e~r one in the City, Changes have been made and more gill be made until
everyr~one has been given a chance to voice their opinion,

At:this~point Chairman of the Zoning Board Walter Roberson went to the Zoning
map ,toT explain what the Board has attempted to put in the ordinate up to
