Regular meeting of the City Commission was called to order by Mayor H. P. Pfeiffer, with the following members present: Comndssioners Dunham, Osburn, Brown and Stabs, City Attorney Pitmatt, Supt. Arthur, and City C],erk Franc G. Baker. Also present were Mr. Carter, with Carter Investment Co., and Tom Brown. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Carried. Mr. Carter appeared Before the Commission to present plot plans on the proposed Sha dy River addition. Motion by Dunham, second by Osburn, that Shady River plot developed by Shady River Developments, be approved. Carried. Motion by Stabs, second by Dunham, that the amount of $1,200.00, due the Fire Department for the pur chase of Home Receivers be paid starting March 1st, at the rate of X40.00 per month until paid in full. Carried. Motion by Osburn, second by Dunham, that the purchase of 50 meter boxes be ratified, cost to be X100.00. Carried. Motion by Osburn, second by Brown, that the account of C~ Frederick be paid, subject to clarification of one day's part. Carried. Motion by Osborn, second by Stabs, that the equipment for the "H" street Lift Station be paid. Carried. Mr. Arthur was asked to contact Mr. Andrews and tell him that the City was ready for the poles for the lighted ba17. field. Motion by Stabs, second by Brown, that the gross receipts check from Houston Lighting do P©wer Company in the amount of $11,876.12, be accepted. Carried.
