M. ~„ F ;~' Regular meeting of the City Commission was called to order by Mayor H, P. ~ Pfeiffer, with the following members present: Commissioners Stabs, Osborn, F,, (Brown & Dunham working), City Attorney C, L. Pitman, Assistant Supt. Dick ~-~ Cunningham, Inspector I. R. King, and Frank G. Baker, City Clerk. ~~ Also present were Carlos Smith and Gould Crofoot, Jim Holley and Mrs. Brummer- hop (Press) and Luther Casteel. Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved. Carried. Mayor Pfeiffer opened bids on water meters. The bids were as follows: Utility Supply Co. Pdeptune Meter Co. Maintenance Engineering Corp. B. I, F. Industries Motion by Osborn, second by Stabs, that bids be tabled for Commissioner Osborn and Carrlos Smith to study. Carried. Motion by Stabs, second by Osborn, that Qrdinance No. 643 be adopted as ~~'~ read. King be given 10 gallons of gasoline ~ per week. ~ Carried. ~ Motion by Osborn, second by Stabs, that Engineer Carlos Smith be auth- orized to prepare estimate on replacing pumps in "B" street Lift Station. Carried. a ~.. Motion by Osborn, second by Stabs, that Commissioner Osborn be authorized to par chase meters to meter all char ches acid lodges. Carried. Motion by Stabs, second by Ogburn, that the starting time for West Construct- ion Compan3r be extended 7 days, to April 30, 1962. Carried. Motion by Osborn, second by Stabs, that the following be paid: Phases 1, 2, 3, Architectural-Engineering Final Bill ~b,862.00- 5~ - $34j.10, project based on cost of construction. Architectur al-Engineering Inv, #1 for plans and specifications on contract a~~ard Coleman Builders X614,729.00 - 3.25 - ~478.b9. Architectural-Engineering Inv, #2 - Fee for supervision on subject project based on Est. #1 for paxtial payment Couch Construction Co. - X18,107.01 -Fee 1.75% - X316.87. Architectur a1-Engineering Inv, #1 Street Surfacing fee for pre- paration of plans and specifications on subject project based on contract West Construction, Fee Phase 1 & 11, X4,464.00, 3.25%- ~145.08.
