Minutes of the Regular Meeting, held on July 20, MINUTES 19b2, and. of the Special Meeting held on July 25, 1962, were read and approved. x- ,~ ~ 2. C©mmissioner Stabs introduced Ordinance No. 655, ORDIN.',NCE N0. 655 identified by the following caption: FIRST READING AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO BAY SHORE INDUSTRIAL WATER COMPANY TO OWN AND OPERATE A WATER SYSTEM IN CERTAIN TERRITORY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED, BOTH WITHIN THE CITY OF LA PORTE AND ADJOINING THE CITY OF LA PORTF; AND ORDAINING OTHER MATTERS R,~ ATING TO THE SUBJECT. (Ordinance filed in Ordinance Book.) The mrdinance was read in full. Commi.ssi®ner Stabs moved the passage of the ordinance on first reading; the motion was seconded by Commissioner Dunham, voted upon and carried by the following vote: AYES: Commissioner Dunham, Commissioner Stabs, Commissioner Brown, and Mayor Pfeiffer.
