Commissioner Brown introduced Ordinance N©. 657, ORDINANCE N0. 657 captioned as full©ws, and. moved its adoption: FINAL READING ON AREA EAST OF R. L. AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING THE HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED TERRITORY TO THE RD.; WEST OP' H6+t7C. CITY OF LA PORTS, TEXAS, AND EXTENDING THE BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE 1~.6; SOI7TH OF SHORE SAID CITY OF LA FORTE, TEXAS, SO AS TO INCLUDE SAID HEREINAFTER ACRES DESCRIBED TERRITORY, GRANTING TO ALL INHABITANTS AND O'vdDTERS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS, BINDING SAID INHABITANTS BY ALL THE ACTS, ORDINANCES, RESOLUTIONS AND REGU- LATIONS OF THE SAID CITY OF LA FORTE, TEXAS, RESERVING AND PRESERVING ALL RIGHTS, POWERS AND DUTIES AS TO TERRITORY INCLUDED IN ORDINANCE N0. 587 NOT INCLUDED WITHIN THIS ORDINANCE AND PROVIDING A SAVINGS CLAUSE. (Ordinance filed in Ordinance book) The Ordinance was then read, which constituted the second and final reading for the territory described therein; after which reading, Commissioner Dunham seconded the motion, which carried by the followir~ vote: FOR: Five (5) AGAINST: None (0) The Ordinance was then declared approved and passed on final reading. ~ ~ 30. 2. Cammissi®ner Stabs made a motion, seconded by REVISE CITY LIMITS Commissioner Osborn, that the City Engineer be instructed to re- MAP vise the present city maps to show the territ®ry described in Ordinance No. 6~7 to be within the City Limits of the City of La Forte, Texas; and further that he make an immediate study as to providing city services to the inhabitants thereof. Motion carried by the following votes: FOR: Five (5) ACrAINST: None (0) ~ ~ ~ There being no further business at hand, the meeting was adjourned. .
