Pfeiffer, Mayor; Tom Osburn, Water and Sewer Commissioner; Odell Brown, Street Commissioner; Dennis Dunham, Health and Sanitation Commission; W. A. Stabs, Jr., Police and Fire Commissioner. MEMBERS OF COMMISSION ABSENT: None. OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: Charles L. Pitman, City Attorney; Clovis D. Mann, City Clerk; Carlos Smith, City Engineer. PRESIDING: H. P. Pfeiffer, Mayor. 1. Minutes o.f the Regular Meeting of December 17, 1962, were read and app:-•oved. 2. Motion was made by Commissioner AUTHORIZAT lON To Stabs, seconded by Commiss:; over Dunham, that the PURCHASE DELUGE GUN City purchase a Deluge gun for the Fire Department. FOR L. P.F.O. Motion carried. 3. Motion was made by Commissioner AUTHORIZATION FOR Osburn, seconded by Commissioner Brown, that Mr. TAX CREDIT To e. O. and Mrs. B. D. Kaufman be given credit in the KAUFMAN. amount of eighty-one dollars and fifty=five cents, ($ 81.55) on taxes paid on property not under their ownership, in Block 306, and that the Mayor be authorized to sign the Certificate of Cancellation. Motion carried. .~ 4. Motion was made by Commissioner Osburn, seconded by Commissioner Brown, that in ~~ consideration of bids received, that the City pur- chase a used Huber-Warco Model 10-D Motor Grader, equipped according to specifications, from the Hi- Way Equipment Company, Inc., for thirteen thousand, fifty-five dollars ($ 13,055.00) with two per cent (2%) discount. Motion was made by Commissioner - Osburn, seconded by Commissioner Stabs, that City Engineer Carlos Smith be authorized to spend one hundred dollars ($ 100.00) for paint in building maintenance work. Motion carried. 6. Motion was made by Commissioner Dunham, seconded by Commissioner Osburn, that one hundred sixty dollars (~ 160.00) freight be added to the purchase price of a Garbage truck, as submitted by Jay Marks Chevrolet. Motion carried. '7. Commissioner Brown made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Stabs, that on future re-imbursements to the City for shell, that the City be re-imbursed at cost plus thirty cents (.30) per yard.
