OTHER CITY OFFICIALS PRESENT: Clouts D. Mann,
City Clerk.
PRESIDING: Harold P. Pfeiffer.
VISITORS: Mr. Charlie Martin and Mr. Russell
Shepherd. Mr. John Kiibier, Sr. was also present in the
interest of an Ordinance to close a part of "/" Street.
9. Ordinance No. 673, closing a portion of "I"
Street ~s presented. Commissioner Osborn made a motion
seconded by Commissioner Brown, that Ordinance No. 673
be passed on first and final reading. Motion carried.
Caption as follows:
AN ORDINANCE VACATING, ABANDONING AND CLOSING THE PORTION
OF "l" STREET LYING WITHIN THE AREA BOUNDED BY BROADWAY
STREET AND TEXAS STREET, AND BETWEEN BLOCK THREE HUNDRED
(300) AND BLOCK THREE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN (398), IN THE TOWN
OF LA FORTE, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS.
2. Commissioner Dunham made a motion, seconded
by Commisst~oner Stabs, that the Election Poll List and
Statement of Canvass Return Sheet, of the Municipal Election
held on April 23, 9963, as submitted to the Mayor and
Commissioners by Mrs. Arbela Ralston, Election Judge, be
accepted and that Frank G. Baker and Russell Shepherd be
declared Commissioners-Elect as a result of a canvass of the
votes. Motion carried.

4. Commissioner Osburn made a motion, seconded
by Commissioner Brown, that the meeting be adjourned. Motion
carried.
