Bobby J. Burgin, Charles D. Boyle, W. A. Stabs, Jr., and Lois
J. Compton.

OTHER CITY OFF/ClALS PRESENT: City Attorney Knox W. Askins, City
Engineer H. Carlos Smith, Chief of Police H. F. Freeman,
and City Clerk Marilyn Kelley.

9. Minutes of the regular meeting of May 9, 9967, were approved
as written.

2. A motion was made by Commissioner Compton, seconded by
Commtssioner Burgin, and carried, that Ordinance No. 769,
be passed on first and final reading.

3. Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded by Commissioner
Compton and carried, that Crdinance No. 770, be passed on
first and final reading.

THREE MEMBERS; SETTING THE DATE OF ITS FIRST Mt-STING; AND
PRESCRIBING ITS POOWERS AND DUTIES; AND DECLARING AN EFFECT/VE

4. Commissioner Burgin made a motion, seconded by Commissioner
Boyle, that a street light be installed at "E" Street, and
/owa Street. Motion carried.

5. A motion was made by Commissioner Boyle, and seconded by
Commissioner Stabs, and carried, that the following
accounts payable be approved:

Del Chemical Corporation 294.75

6. Commissioner Compton made a motion, seconded by Commissioner
Burgin, and carried, that the following purchases be approved:
Mabry Foundry - 3 60' rolls 3/4" Cooper Tubing
Gamon Meter - 2 2" Meters - 9 1 1/2" Meter
Texas Crushed Stone - Approx. 70 Tons 3/8 stone.

7. A motion was made by Commissioner Stabs and seconded by
Commissioner Boyle, that the purchase of five radios from
Motorola be approved. Motton carried. (3 - Poltce Dept. -
2 - Water Department.)

8. Commissioner Boyle made a motion, seconded by Commissioner
Compton, that low bidder Batterson Dist. Company, be authorized
to paint the center strip and numerals on the Airport runways.
Cost:
New Runway X306.45
