1. Minutes of the regular meeting of August 14, 1967 and the special
meeting of August 30, 1967, and September 6, 1967, were approved
as written.

2. Bids for the painting of the elevated water tank, were received.
(See Exhibit No. 1).
Commissioner Boyle made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Stabs,
that the bids be tabled for tabulation. Motion carried.

3. Bids were received for the purchase of a new Grader. (See Exhibit
No. 2).
A motion was made by Commissioner Boyle, and seconded by Commissioner
Stabs, that the bids be tabled for tabulation and study. Motion
carried.

4. The following bids were received for the sale of the 1928 Fire
Truck.

Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Compton,
that the Commission accept the high bid, Rocky Beal ,550.00.
Motion carried.

5. A motion was made by Commissioner Stabs, and seconded by Commissioner
Boyle, that the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to execute a
paving reCease for Emmett Smith. Motion carrted.

6. The City Engineer gave a report on the use of the Sack System for
garbage pick-up. Action was tabled for more information.

7. Commissioner Boyce made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Stabs,
that a street light be placed at Second and "F" Streets. Motion
carried.

8. A motion was made by Commissioner Boyle, and seconded by Commisstoner
Compton, that bids be received at 7:00 P. M., October 2, ?967, for
the purchase of two cab and chassis, and one pick-up. Motion carrted.

9. Commissioner Compton made a motion, seconded by Commisstoner Boyle,
and carried, that the following accounts payable be approved:

Commercial Sweeping Company 190.67
Mabry Foundry 148.65
K. A. Watnscott 200.00
Machtne Records, lnc. 429.00

10. A motion was made by Commisstoner Stabs, and seconded by Commissioner
Compton, that the employment of Chester Ftncher, ,550.00, be ratifted.
Motion carried.

11. Commissioner Stabs made a motion, seconded by Commisstoner Boyle,
that Ronald L. Smith, and David R. Reed be given Police Reserve
Commissions. Motion carried.
