Carlos Smith, City Attorney Knox W. Askins, and City Cierk Marilyn Kelley. PRESIDING: Mayor Pfeiffer. + + + 9. The minutes of the regular meeting of November 20, 9967, and the special meeting of November 27, 9967, were approved as written. + + + 2. Commisstoner Stabs made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Burgin, and carried, that Ordinance No. 776 be passed on first and final reading. GN MONDAY January 95, 9967, TO GIVE ALL PARTIES IN INTEREST AND CITIZENS AN OPPORTU.'~.'lTY TG BE HEARD CONCERNING A COMPREHENSIVE AMENDMENT Or THE C I TY OF LA PORTS ZO/~' I NG ORDINANCE NO. 620, AN'D A COMrPRE- HENSIVE AMENDMENT OF THE CITY OF LA PORTS ZONING DISTRICT BOUNDARY MAP; PROVIDING FG~4 PUBLISHED AND MAILED NOTICE Orr SUCH HEARING; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF. + + + 3. A motion was made by Commissioner Compton, and seconded by Commissioner Boyle, that the College View Municipal Utility District be authortzed to preceed with development of the addition tracts requested, subject to the same regulations as previously approved. Motion carried. + t + U 4. Commissioner Compton made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Stabs, and carried, that the following meettng date changes be approved: Regular Meeting of January 1, 1968 to January 8, 1968. Regular Meeting of January 15, 1968 to January 22, 1968. + + + 5. A motion was made by Commissioner Burgin, seconded by Commissioner Stabs, and carried, that the City Clerk be authorized to release any excess funds being held in escrow for street paving assessments, and that the City Attorney be authorized to prepare a release for the following units, that have been defeated from the program: 749-1 North 7fh Street, from NPL West Polk (North "A") to SPL West Tyler (North "C") 749-13 North 7th Street, from NPL West Matn to SPL West Polk (North "A") 750-6 West Polk (North "A") Street, from VVPL Broadway to EPL North 9th Street. 750-8 West (South) "A" ftom EFL South 3rd Street to EPL South 9th Street. + + + 6. O. 933 to Mustang Tractor Company, X2,335.90, be approved. Motion carried. + + + 8. Commissioner Boyle made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Burgin, that the charge of the Water Discount date in December from December 90, 9967 to December 94, 9967, be ratified. Motion carried. + + + 9. A motion was made by Commissioner Stabs, and seconded by Commissioner Compton, that the City Cierk be author{zed to pay the Fire Department $200.00 prime money. Motion carried. + + + 90. Commissioner Burgin made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Boyle, and carried that Otto Vargas, Jr. and Sam Saporito be given salary increased from $9.55 to .9.95 per hour. + + + TNERE BEING NO FURTHER BUSINESS AT HAND, THE MEETING b'.AS ADJOURNED.
