?. The minutes of the regular meeting held on April 7, 1969, and the
special meeting held on April 18, 1969, were approved as presented.

2. A motion was made by Commissioner Crofoot, seconded by Commissioner
Compton and carried, that Grdinance Nc. 818 be approved on first
and f i.na l r~-ad ing.

3. The City a dministrator presented a vrater rate increase schedule,
and recommended That fire CcM~-fission take action as it is need
to establish the one year experience for bon~itny purposes.
Action will be taken at the next regular meeting.

6. Commissioner Burgin made a ,motion, seco~^ded by Comrtssioner Boyle,
thct the Cify Administrator be authorized to advertise for bids
on asphalt to;>ping. Bids to be roc teed of 4:?0 P.M., May 15, 1959.

?. A motion was made by Commissioner Burgin, seconded by Comrissioner
Boyle, that a street Light be placed at the intersection of
Bayshore Drive and Forrest Avenue. Motion carrted.

Compton, that the Commission rattfy the purchase oa an air conditioner
from Kling Air Conditioning, ;;378.30. Motion carrted.

9. A ,-;,otion was made by Commissioner Burgin, seconded by Commissioner
Compton and carried, that the finaC aptiroval of Brookglen Section
2 ne rafified.

10. Commissioner urofoot made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Boyle,
that a resoZufton be passed entertr~g into an agreement with the
State Health Departmenf, Geer Far;:, and Lorr,:x, to update our
piaster Plan, through, tr;e '~ouston Galveston Area Council. Mot ion
carried.

11. A mot ten was mu~de by Con^,rmts> loner Bogie, seconded by Commissioner
Crofoot, and carried, that the City of La Porte enter into confraet
with the Cities of M,organ's Foint and Shoreacres, to extend to them
certain city services. (See exhibits 1 & 2).

engi,n~~er to survey and ,.^repare field nofes on two acres to be
included in the proposed Tc-x .'ero lnc. airport ieasf. Further,
that the engineer be cs'arlaw Engineering, provideo'i:e can complete
fhe work this week, at a fee of ;950.00 maximum. N'oticn tarried.
