Honorable Carlos Smith
Mayor, City of La Porte
La Porte, Texas 77571
Dear Sir
GEORGE H. SHARP, JR.
VICE-PRESIDENT
To confirm our earlier conversation, the La Porte Independent School
District has requested Houston Lighting and Power street lights to be
installed at the entrance and exit on Avenue "J" to the High School
• parking lot, and at the entrance and exit to Baker Junior High on
Spencer Highway.
The School District is willing to pay the annual cost of these lights
and so indicated to Mr. Werner. We believe that the installation of
these lights will lessen the driving hazards at these locations.
Sincerely
d:;
