Dear Sir:
Reference is made to recent contacts with this office
concerning the drainage along the east ditch of Loop ~l0 and
Spur 501 between G Street and Little Cedar Bayou in the City of
LaPorte.
We have investigated this matter, and the Texas
Highway Department agrees to do labor only on the following:
1. Install one l8-inch pipe under J Street.
2. Install one 2L1--inch pipe under Forest Street and one
2~-inch pip e`4 under Garfield Street.
3. Cut~'the'trench and place backAfill material at the
..three street crossings.
~-. ~~eatn ~h~ east ~~tcY~ ~f ~pu~ 5~1 fr~m J Street to the
irs rive sou o ar e d tree .
The City of LaPorte should agree to the following:
1. Furnish all material and place at the job site.
2. Place the base and surfacing at the three street crossings.
