Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas, for the purpose of considering the following agenda items. All agenda items are subject to. action. 1. CALL TO ORDER 2. INVOCATION—The invocation will be given by Dee Spears, Fairmont Park Church. 3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE—The Pledge of Allegiance will be led Councilmember Kristin Martin. 4: PUBLIC COMMENTS (Limited to five minutes per person.) 5. CONSENT AGENDA (All consent-agenda items are considered routine by City Council and will be enacted by one motion. There will be no separate discussion of these items unless a Councilmember requests an item be removed and considered separately.) (a) Consider approval or other action regarding the minutes of the City Council meeting held on October 12, 2015- P. Fogarty (b) Consider approval or other action regarding a Resolution appointing one representative and one alternate to the H-GAC 2016 General Assembly and Board of Directors-P.Fogarty (c) Consider approval or other action authorizing the City Manager to execute an agreement with Bayside Terrace Civic Club for a Community Cooperation Project-T. Leach (d) Consider approval or other action regarding an amendment to the bus service agreement between Harris County and the City of La Porte for local bus service for the period beginning November 1,2015 and ending October 31, 2016-T. Leach (e) Consider approval or other action regarding Vehicle Replacements for Fiscal Year 2015-2016 - D. Mick (f) Consider approval or other action regarding a Resolution authorizing the sale of Lots 20-25, Block 83,Town of La Porte and the waiver of a portion of City liens on the property-M. Dolby (g) Consider approval or other action regarding an Ordinance amending the City of La Porte Fiscal Year 20142015 Budget- M. Dolby 6. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND ASSOCIATED ORDINANCES (a) Public hearing to receive comments regarding condemnation of substandard buildings consisting of 4 multi-family apartment buildings and 1 laundromat building, all located at 330 Bayside Dr., LaPorte; and consider approval or other action of an Ordinance regarding condemnation of substandard buildings consisting of 4 multi-family apartment buildings and 1 laundromat building, all located at 330 Bayside Dr., La Porte- R. Davidson r (b) Public hearing to receive comments regarding the recommendation by the Planning and Zoning Commission to approve an Ordinance amending Section 106-801 (Tree Preservation), Section 106-802 (Tree Replacement), and Section 106-803 (Tree Fund) of the Gigs Code of Ordinances; and consider approval or other action of an Ordinance amending Sections 106- 801, 106-802, and 106-803 of the City's Code of Ordinances -E. Ensey 7. AUTHORIZATIONS (a) Consider approval or other action authorizing the Mayor to execute Tax Resale Deeds conveying all rights, title, and interest of the taxing entities in six properties described as Lots 3-4, Block 106; Lots 14-16 Block 86; Lots 13-14, Block 80; Lots 22-24, Block 67, Town of La Porte; and Lots 13-14, Block 71; and Lots 5-6, Block 60 Bay Front Addition to Town of La Porte, to the City of La Porte; and approve an Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to execute a Special Warranty Deed to convey said properties from the City of La Porte to the Bay Area Habitat for Humanity-Houston, Inc.-T.Tietjens (b) Consider approval or other action of an Ordinance renaming N. 5th Street to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive- C.Alexander 8. DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION (a) Discussion and possible action regarding appointments to various City of La Porte boards, committees and commissions-P. Fogarty 9.
