Sherri Ditrich congratulated Tessa Thompson on her recognition and thanked all
for the outpouring of support in the last few weeks, following the recent loss of her
husband, LPPD Chief Doug Ditrich.

a. Approve the minutes of the regular City Council meeting held on

b. Building Cleaning Services Contract
Authorize the City Manager to execute a building cleaning services
contract with McLemore Building Maintenance, Inc., for two (2) year
term ending December 31, 2026, utilizing PACE cooperative contract
#P00218, not to exceed annual budgeted amounts. [Ray Mayor,
Director, Public Works Department]
C. Contract with Hahn Equipment
Authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Hahn
Equipment Company, Inc. for six (6) Flygt Pump Replacements at lift
stations 2,5, 6, 8, 29 and 37, in the amount of $304,356.00 and provide
a construction contingency of $10,000.00. [Ray Mayor, Director, Public
Works Department]
Mayor Pro Tem Enoelken moved to adopt the Consent Aoenda7 the motion
was seconded by Councilperson Bentley' the motion was adopted 9-0.
6. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND ASSOCIATED ORDINANCES
a. PUBLIC HEARING
The City Council will hold a public hearing to receive comment
regarding a recommendation by the Planning and Zoning Commission
to adopt Ordinance 2023-3923 amending the Code of Ordinances of
the City of La Porte, Texas, Chapter 86 (Development Regulations), by
amending regulations related to fill dirt standards, and amending
Appendix A -Fees and Appendix B-Fines; followed by discussion and
possible action to consider adopting Ordinance 2023-3923 amending
the Code of Ordinances of the City of La Porte, Texas, Chapter 86
(Development Regulations), by amending regulations related to fill dirt

9. REPORTS
a. Present First Quarter CIP Report to City Council. [Matt Daeumer,
Assistant City Manager]
Assistant City Manager Matt Daeumer provided updates on CIP projects.
Councilperson McCaulley said the New City Hall Committee met, noting the
Committee discussed interior finishes and technology. Councilperson
Martin said the Drainage and Flooding Committee met, received updates,
heard from guests from Halff Associates and the Harris County Flood
Control District, and set its next meeting for March 11.

11. COUNCIL COMMENT
Hear announcements concerning matters appearing on the agenda; items of

formal action will be discussed.
Councilpersons congratulated the team members recognized earlier in the
meeting for their great efforts and attitudes; thanked all involved with the
successful Mardi Gras on Main event; and expressed gratitude to all who assisted
with Chief Ditrich's funeral.
