Call to Order Chairman Jones called the meeting to order at 19:08. Members Present: B. Compton, J. Suggs, J. Joems, J. Jones, M. Campise, J. Oliphant Members Absent: T. Dye, G. Swilley Others Present: None 2. Consider Approval of Minutes of August 29,2005 Meeting Motion to approve minutes as read was made by Mr. Campise and seconded by Mr. Oliphant. Motion passed unanimously. 3. Consider approval or other action regarding 2005 Pension Report Mr. Jones reviewed the attendance records for 2005. Discussed having the association's president attend this meeting each year with no action taken on the discussion. Mr. Oliphant made a motion to have the chairman submit a letter to the association's Executive Board addressing how our decision is made relative to the acceptance or rejection of the five members in question. The motion was seconded by Mr. Campise and passed unanimously. Discussed the decisions made by the Executive Board relative to granting , leniency to members who missed qualifying by a small margin. Mr. Suggs made a motion to qualify all but #84 - Hawkins. The motion was seconded by Mr. Campise and passed unanimously. 4. Discuss changes to local board requirement that will now require that the board meets at least 4 times annually and determine tentative schedule for 2006 meetings Following some discussion between trustees, Mr. Joems made a motion that the meetings be conducted quarterly with the 2006 meetings scheduled for April 27, July 27, and October 26. All meeting beginning at *18:00. Seconded by Mr. Campise the motion passed unanimously. 5. Consider approval or other action regarding local board membership and terms of office Reviewed and discussed the memorandum from FFPC relative to recommendations reducing the active number of board members. A motion to have the association membership elect 3 of the 5 as voting members with the others serving as advisQrs was made by Mr. Joerns and seconded by Mr. Campise. Motion passed unanimously. 6.
