Minutes from September 14, 2015 Meeting
Meeting held at Fire Station I - Members present at meeting include Michael McPhail,
David Stiefel, Johnny Jones, Tom Dye and Gary Crager. Chairman called the meeting to
order (a-), 18:00.
The minutes were read from the previous, meeting August 24, 2015. A motion to approve
the minutes was made by Johnny Jones, and seconded by Tom Dye. The motion carried.
Reviewed Department Pension Roster: Reviewed Pension Roster.
Certification of pension roster: Motion to certify pension roster by Michael McPhail, and
seconded by Johnny Jones. The motion carried.
Review of Pension Contribution Charges: No change,
Discussion and Consideration of Benefit Claims: Retirement benefit claim for Joe
Zweircan. A motion was made by Torn Dye, and seconded by Johnny Jones. The motion
carried.
Other business: A discussion was held on how many hours are needed to make pension
requirements. Added 7 names that made pension hours for 2014 after reviewing
requirements per Texas firefighter pension requirements.
Motion made to adjourn the meeting made by Michael McPhail, and seconded by David
Stiefel. The motion carried, meeting adjourned @ 18:25,
