LA PORTE AREA WATER AUTHORITY
MINUTES
July 19, 2006
1. The meeting was called to order at 6:02 PM by Vice President Paul Berner.
Members Present: Vice President Paul Berner, Secretary Chester Pool, Members
Dennis Steger and Steve Valerius.
Members Absent:. President Robert Roy.
Others Present: General Manager Debra Feazelle, Director of Public Works
Steve Gillett, Assistant Director of Public Works Don Pennell and Assistant
Director of Finance Michael Dolby.

The minutes from the meeting held January 18, 2006 were reviewed. Motion by
Steve Valerius, second by Chester Pool to approve the minutes as presented.
Motion was unanimous.

General Manager Debra Feazelle reviewed the proposed FY 2006-2007 LP A W A
Operating Budget. Ms. Feazelle, Mr. Gillett and Mr. Dolby answered questions
from the Board. Motion by Steve Valerius, second by Dennis Steger to approve
the FY 2005-2006 LP A W A Operating Budget. Motion was unanimous.
General Manager Debra Feazelle discussed the engagement letter from Null-
Lairson to provide auditing services in the upcoming year. Feazelle then
reviewed the Additional Capital Cost Update for the Southeast Water Purification
Plant. Mr. Gillett answered questions regarding the Project.
