1. CALL TO ORDER.
The meeting was called to order by Bill Manning, Chairperson. .
2. ROLL CALL ~ ~ ~ -
Member of the Committee Present: Nick Finan, Debra Dye, Brenda Brown, Bill Manning,
- ~ Doug Martin, Paul Berner, Gloria Lair, Pat Muston, Vicki Campise, Deborah Johnson and
Bobby Schlenk
3. CONSIDER APPROVAL OR OTHER ACTION OF THE MAY 3, 2004 MAIN STREET
COMMITTEE 1VIINUTES .
Minutes were approved with the correction that Paul Berner called the meeting to order and

4. SELECT NEW COMMITTEE MEMBER FROM RESIDENTIAL SEGMENT OF MAIN
STREET DISTRICT .. ...
The committee unanimously selected Brenda Brown to represent the residential area.

A) RECAP ISSUES, CONCERNS, DESIRES FROM LAST MEETING ~ -
B) CONTINUE LISTING ISSUES, CONCERNS, DESIRES .
Mr. Finan discussed the timeline with the committee. He suggested requesting an extension
from City Council on the moratorium. Mr. Finan overviewed the visioning of Main Street:
The committee discussed overlaying portions of Main Street and possibly expanding the 5-
points area. Ms. Johnson, made a motion to create an overlay area for the .Main Street district;
Ms. Campise seconded the motion. The committee approved the motion unanimously. Mr.
Berner made a motion to create an overall district. Ms. Johnson seconded the motion.. The
committee approved the motion unanimously. Mr. Randy Rowan spoke on behalf of his
clients, who plan to purchase property adjacent to Main Street, concerns on the moratorium
and the. future of Main Street..
6. ~ DISCUSS HOW TO DRAFT CONIIVIENTS FOR PRESENTATION
The committee discussed comments for their presentation to Planning &~ Zoning.
7. .REVIEW DRAFT LETTER TO MAIN STRET OWNERS/'TENANTS AND NEARBY
PROPERTY OWNERS ~ ~ - _
The committee reviewed the enclosed letter. ~ . ~ ~ .
8. ASSIGN TASKS FOR THE NEXT MEETING .. ~ ~ ~ ~ .
The committee requested lighting requirements in alleys, traffic signs, and parking signs. ,
The committee will discuss tax abatements for Main Sheet at the next meeting. ..
The next meeting will be June 7 at 2:00 p.m. ~ .. ~ -
