MEMBERS OF THE C'OMMI~S~SION PRESENT: Walter Roberson, Charles C ristensen, W.R. S ede ower, and J.H. Smith MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION ABSENT: Kerry Beverly OTHER PRESENT: Doug Perfect, James Ball, and Jack Lawler PRESIDING: Walter Roberson r~ ~J 1. CALL TO ORDER - The meeting was called to order by Chairman Roberson at 7:10 P.M. 2. CONSIDER HOUSE MOVING' REQUEST - JAMES F. BALL - Mr. James F. Ball spoke in behalf of is request or moving a house into the City of La Porte on Blackwell. Mrs. Virginia Cline was present to voice her objections. James Russell & Richard Phillips also objected. J.H. Smith made the motion to deny the request; seconded by Charles Christensen. Unanimous vote to deny the request. 3. CONSIDER HOUSE MOVING REQUEST - DOUG PERFECT - Doug Perfect was present to spea in e a o is request to move a house to 121 So. Sixth Street. J.H. Smith made the motion to grant Mr. Perfects request; seconded by Charles Christensen. Unanimous vote. C 4. DISCUSS- REQUEST FOR ZONING OF 78.0575 ACRES, W.M. JONES SURVEY, A-4 8 2 ,' LA' P'ORTE', HARRIS COUNTY,' TEXAS . Mr. Eddie Gray spoke to the commissioners in behalf of his request to rezone 78. acres on Spencer Highway. W.R. Shedelbower made the motion to rezone R-1 to commerical ( legal description) as requested by Mr. Gray with no special permits in regard to light industry. Seconded by Mr. Charles Christensen. DISCUSS REQUEST - MOBILE HOME PARK - JACK LAWLER - It was the consensus of opinion of the commission that there was no action necessary because the property was already zoned for Mobile Home Parks. + + + 6.
