MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION PRESENT: Charles Christensen, Chairman; J. C. Hebert, Eugene Ybarra. MEMBERS ABSENT: W. R. Shedelbower, Joe Ligi. OTHERS PRESENT: Peter Dickson, Architect (for Johnson); Joe D. Johnson; Grace Johnson; Judith R. Dickson; Meredith Wilson; Mrs. Meredith Wilson; J. B. De Los Santos (Architect for Wilson); Pat Muston. • PRESIDING: Charles Christensen, Chairman. + + + 1. CALL TO ORDER - Meeting was called to order at 7:15 P.M. + + + 2. APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Correction to minutes of 12-19-77, Item 5 addition. Motion was made to accept minutes as corrected. Seconded by Ybarra. Passed unanimously. + + + 3. CONSIDER REQUEST OF MEREDITH WILSON TO ALLOW A DUPLEX TO BE BUILT ON LOTS 27 AND 28, BLOCK 30, LA PORTE, HARRIS COUNTY, TEXAS - Presentation was made by Mr. De Los Santos. A discussion was held. CONSIDER REQUEST OF J.OE JOHNSON TO REZONE LOTS 1 THRU 6, BLOCK 16, SYLVAN BEACH FIRST SUBDIVISION, TO ALLOW TOWNHOUSE CONSTRUCTION - Presentation by Dickson. Propose to close Willow Ave. from Garfield to Little Cedar Bayou and Cedar Ave. from Willow Ave. to Park Ave. Propose to have 75' green belts along Park Ave. and the closed section of Willow Ave. Construction of 16 townhouses with all auto off street parking located within the compound of townhouses and access on Garfield Ave. Commission agreed to hold a meeting later in the month.
