I have inspected the house to be moved to 509 Circle Drive, and have found the following list needs to be done to bring house up to code. 1. Mover agrees to install two sills to correct spanning problem in floor joist. 2. Fire stopping to be installed at bottom of stud of exterior walls. 3. Install screens at windows. 4. Paint exterior. 5. Remove shingles to install new roof shingles. 6. Install complete electrical wiring. 7. In making an inspection of the property later that day, Mr. Paulissen found the fence to be in violation of Ordinance 780, sec. 13-205 #3. He also found the fence was constructed without a Building Permit. In making personal contact with the owner, Mrs. Fox, Mr. Paulissen informed her of the violation and that she would have to remove the fence. Mrs Fox said she would like to appea3. She was told how to do so. The only other front yard fences in the area was put up some time ago and may have been up before the Ordinance went into effect. If more information is needed contact the Inspection Department. Respectfully, Benj mi~Talburt City Inspector 0 CITY OF LA PORTE INTER-OFFICE MEMORANDUM TO : Jim Nudgens DATE : July 18, 2979 FROM : Ben Talburt SUBJECT : College View Sub-division As You requested, I have studied plans for College View Sub-Division and have found two areas of concern. 1. There is a place where the water line and the sewer line cross. They cross at right angles and are separated by three feet of earth, if the sewer line is built to water line specs, there should be no problem. 2. On the sewer line they intend to put two houses per stack where the line is too deep for a safe tap.
