LA PORTE, TEXAS - AUGUST 4, 1980
7:00 P.M.
Meeting called to order by Walter Springall acting as Chair-
man for the Planning & Zoning Commission at 7:05 P.M.
MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING .& ZONING COMMISSION PRESENT:
Blackwell, Grant, Wright, Springall
MEMBERS OF THE PLANNING & ZONING COMMISSION ABSENT:
MUSTON, WOMACK, PFEIFFER
OTHERS ATTENDING: Eddie Gray, Miss Gray, Ben Talbert
The preliminary plat for Fairmont Park East was presented
to the Commission for their consideration.
Talbert of Code Enforcement read into the record a memo
sent to the City Administrator concerning Fairmont Park
East from the Plan Review Committee (City Inspector, Fire
• Marshal, and New Construction Inspector, and Fire Chief)
The memo is a part of these minutes.
Discussion followed, Mr. Grey requested P&Z approve the
plat subject to later approval by the City departments
in order for construction of drainage structures be started
at this time.
A motion was made by R. J. Blackwell to approve the plat
for Fairmont Park East subject to approval by all City
departments prior to the time the plat would be placed on
the agenda for the City Commissions consideration. The
motion was second by Dallie Wright, the motion carried
4-ayes and 0-nays.
Ayes: Blackwell, Grant, Wright, Springall
Motion to adjourn by Blackwell, second by Grant, there being
no further business to bring before the Planning and Zon-
ing Commission the meeting was duly adjourned at 7:37 P.M.
