October 27, 2004 TO: The Members of the Rural, Single-Family Residential Committee FROM' Delecia Turner, Chairman Our previous meetings have been extremely informative. Not only have we gotten to know some of our neighbors better, we have all, I feel, become more knowledgeable on the large lot issues. I feel in general that we agree on various items such as setback lines, and side building lines. At this point, it appears that the major issue is whether we WANT a lot minimum or not. My goal for the next meeting is to focus on this issue alone. I would like to request that each committee member take the time PRIOR to the meeting to think and make a written list to bring to the meeting. On the list, please make a "Pro Column" and a "Con Column". Then write your ideas in each column. Please remain open minded An example would be: If you personally do or do not want a minimum lot size, try to pretend you are on each side when writing your list. The decisions we are making are not just for each of us personally. They are for all the members of our community. Hopefully, after reviewing each member's list, we can create a unified list of the pros and cons to discuss in a time effective manner. Thank you so much for taking the time to do this, and for giving your time for these meetings. Sincerely, Delecia Turner Chairman
