Minutes of the Regular ,Meeting
of the LaPorte Youth Advisory Conndt
Febnlary 10, 2004
1. The meeting was called to order at 6:05 pm by Mayor Clemea Donaldson.
Members of the Y AC present: Clemea Donaldson, LaSadra Hillman, Mia Parisi,
Shelby Barnett, Brandon Lunsford, Chaise Merritt, Pierr Castillo, Hiba Haroon,
Carol Parmer, Laura Low,and Margo Curette.
Staff members present: Crystal Scott
2. Approval of regular meeting minutes from previous meeting ofFebmary 3,2004.
3. Introduction of new Y AC members not present at last meeting: Lionel Garcia,
Joseph Hernandez, and Irene Garza.
4. Shelby Barnett and Hiba Haroon presented a list of possible sponsors for the
fashion show.
5. The group agreed to assist the Parks and Recreation Department with the Skate
Clinic on March 13 at 10:00 am and the Easter Egg Hunt on April 13 at 10:00 am.
6. Pierre Castillo was elected Sergeant at Arms due to the absence of Gregory Riley,
7. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday February 17,2004.
