NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING
REGARDING THE LA PORTE FIRE CONTROL, PREVENTION,
AND EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES DISTRICT BUDGET
Notice is hereby given that the City Council ofthe City of La Porte will hold a public hear-
ing on the La Porte Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency Medical Services District's
adopted budget for the 2021-2022 fiscal year on the 23rd day of August 2021, in the Coun-
cil Chambers of the City Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas, beginning at
6:00 p.m. The purpose of this hearing is to provide citizens the opportunity to continent on
the overall budget.
The City of La Porte must, by requirements of Texas Local Government Code Section.
344.205(a) and (b), adopt or reject the La Porte Fire Control, Prevention, and Emergency
Medical Services District budget not later than the 30th day before the date the fiscal year
begins. Copies of the adopted budget will be available for public inspection and copying
at City Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas, during normal business hours.
The budget will also be made available on the City's website.
