NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION ON PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 106 (ZONING) Notice is hereby given that the La Porte Planning and Zoning Commission will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 P.M. on the 18th day of July, 2024, in the Council Chambers of City Hall, 604 West Fairmont Parkway, La Porte, Texas, in accordance with the provisions in Section 106-171 of the City of La Porte Code of Ordinances and the provisions of the Texas Local Government Code. NOTICE FOR REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS RFQ #24601 PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR 2024 FUNDING OF HMGP, BRIC AND FMA PROJECTS The City of La Porte (the “City”) invites the submittal of responses to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) from qualified firms interested in providing Professional Engineering Services for the City of La Porte for 2024 Funding of Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP), Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities Grant Program (BRIC), and/or Flood Mitigation Assistance Grant Program (FMA). The City of La Porte plans to apply for available grant funding offered under HMGP, BRIC, and FMA. These services are being solicited to assist the City in applications and, if award-ed to support eligible activities.
