MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE
FISCAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE
Members Present: Chuck Engelken,Jay Martin, Brandon Lunsford (arrived at 4:35 p-m_)

Members Absent= Rick Helton (alternate)
Council-appointed Officers Present= Corby Alexander, City Manager; Lee Woodward,
City Secretary
The Fiscal Affairs Committee of the City of La Porte met on March 23, 2026,
in the City Hall Council Chamber, 604 West Fairmont Parkway,
La Porte, Texas, at 4.30 p_m_
1_ CALL TO ORDER -Chair Engelken called the meeting to order at 4;30 p-m.
2_ CITIZEN COMMENT - There were no comments_

a_ Approval of minutes of the February 23, 2026, meeting_ [Lee Woodward, City
Secretary/P1O]
Member Martin moved to approve the minutes of the February 23, 2026, meeting;
the motion was seconded by Chair Engelken; the motion was adopted, 2-0_
b_ 2025 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report - Presentation, discussion,
and possible action to accept the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report
for the City of La Porte Fiscal Year ended September 30, 2025_ [Michael
OIolby, Finance nirector]
Paula Lowe of Pattillo, Brown, and Hill presented the report_ (Member Lunsford
arrived at 4:35, during the presentation_) Ms- Lowe noted the City received an
unmodified opinion, the highest remark possible. Member Martin moved to
approve the Annual Comprehensive Financial Reportfor the City of La Porte Fiscal
Year ended September 30 2025, and recommend itto the City Council;the motion
was seconded by Member Lunsford; the motion was adopted, 3-0.
4_ ACMIN ISTRATIVE REPORTS -There were no reports.
5. SET DATE FOR NEXT MEETING - Without objection, the next meeting was set for
April 27, 2026.
6. COMMITTEE MEMBER COMMENTS - Committee members thanked the Finance
team for their work.
7. ADJOUR —Without objection Chair Engelken adjourned the meeting at 4:45 p.m.
