Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the,Animal Shelter Advisory Committee to be, held on June, 17,
2026, at 5=00 pm in the, La Ports Pollca nepartmant, 3001 North 23rd Street, La Porter, Texas, for tha
purpose of considering the,following agenda items_ All agenda items are subject to action-

6_ Request to purchase items from shelter donation account
1 _ Up to $500 for top 10 Volunteers
1_ Up to $100 for Volunteer of the Year Award
1_ Purchasing custom cloth leashes for $1,400
1_ Purchasing microchips for free microchips up to $1,000
1_ Purchasing 180 cat hidey boxes for $441 + shipping
7_ Update on voluntaar program
8. Presentation of administrative/statistical reports

If, during the course of the meeting and discussion of any items covered by this notice, the
Animal Shelter Advisory Committee determines that a closed or executive session of the
committee is required, then such closed meeting will be held as authorized by Texas

during executive session.
Persons with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and who may need auxiliary aids or
services are requested to contact the Fire Department office (281-470-5183), three working
days prior to the meeting for appropriate arrangements.
Pursuant to Texas Government Code Sec. 551.127, on a regular, non-emergency basis,
members may attend and participate in the meeting remotely by video conference. Should
that occur, a quorum of the members will be physically present at the location noted above
on this agenda.

I, the undersigned, do hereby certify that a copy of the June 16, 2026, Fire Control,
Prevention, and EMS District Board of Directors agenda was posted on the City Hall bulletin
board, a place convenient and readily accessible to the general public at all times, and to the

Code.
