5. PAINT STRIPES SHALL BE FOUR (4) INCHES IN WIDTH WITH THE EXCEPTION OF
STOP BARS WHICH SHALL BE EIGHT (8) INCHES IN WIDTH.
6. PAVEMENT MARKINGS SHALL BE APPLIED AT A RATE OF 400 LINEAR FEET OF
FOUR (4) INCH STRIPE PER GALLONS OF MARKING PAINT BY AN APPROVED POWER
SPRAYER ON A THOROUGHLY DRY SURFACE WHEN THE AIR TEMPERATURE IS
ABOVE 50° F.
