Texas Law Article 1436c, prohibits all activities in which
persons or equipment may come within six feet of
energized overhead power lines, and Federal Regulations.
Title 29 part 1910.180(1) and port 1926.550(a) (15)
require a minimum clearance of ten feet from these
facilities. The above laws carry both criminal and civil
liabilities, with contractors and owners being legally
responsible for the safely of workers under these laws.
If you or your compovrry, must work near overhead power
lines. call (713) 228-7400 for the lines to be
de -energized and/or moved at your expense.

3. ALL WORK SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED AND TESTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY
OF IA PORTE ENGINEERING SPECIFICATIONS (281-471-5020).
4. THIS SITE PLAN WAS DONE WITHOUT THE BENEFIT OF A CURRENT
TITLE REPORT AND MAY CONTAIN EASEMENTS AND/OR

3. ON THIS PROJECT, SANITARY SEWERS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED WITH
POLY -VINYL -CHLORIDE PIPE SDR 26 CLASS FOR 12" AND
SMALLER PIPE SIZES. CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE TEST PLUGS AND PLUGS
AND RISER, NO SEPARATE PAY.
4. IN WET SAND AREAS USE SPECIAL SECTION AS PER CITY OF LA PORTE
STANDARD DETAIL SHEET.
5. ALL SANITARY SEWER TRENCHES TO INCLUDE CUSS "A -A" BEDDING
BACKFILL (ALL DEPTHS), NO SEPARATE PAY.
6. NO CONNECTIONS SHALL BE MADE TO EXISTING SANITARY SEWER LINES
UNTIL ALL PROPOSED SANITARY SEWER LINES HAVE BEEN THOROUGHLY CLEANED,
TESTED AND APPROVED BY THE CITY OF LA PORTE. NOTIFY THE CITY OF LA PORTE
AT LEAST 48 HOURS PRIOR TO CONNECTION TO ANY EXISTING SEWER LINE.
7. DEFLECTION TESTING OF FLEXIBLE AND SEMI-RIDGID SANITARY SEWER LINES
SHALL BE CONDUCTED AFTER THE FINAL BACKFILL HAS BEEN IN PLACE AT
LEAST 30 DAYS. THE MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE DEFLECTION IS 5%. IF THE
TEST IS TO BE PERFORMED USING A RIDGED BALL OR MANDREL, IT SHALL
BE PERFORMED WITHOUT MECHANICAL PULUNG DEVICES OF ANY KIND.
9. ALL JOINTS SHALL CONFORM TO ASTM D-3212, JOINTS SHALL BE BELL &
SPIGOT TYPE WITH RUBBER GASKET. CHEMICALLY WELDED P.V.C. PIPE JOINTS
ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. CHEMICALLY WELDED ASS TRUSS O.K.
9. ON -SITE SANITARY SEWERS TO BE INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH CITY OF
