IN THE EVENT THAT TRENCH UPRIGHTS CAN NOT BE PLACED BELOW TRENCH BOTTOM AS SHOWN ON DETAIL, CONTRACTOR MUST PROVIDE ENGINEER WITH PLANS THAT DEMONSTRATE THAT THE UPRIGHTS WILL BE BRACED AND MAINTAINED IN A VERTICAL POSITION. 5.
