STANDARD HCFCD NOTES FOR CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS
1. Harris County Flood Control District, Property Management Department, shall be notified is writing at least
48 hours prior to construction. Copies of the "Preconstruction Notification", the approved plans, and all
applicable permits are required at this time. (If a non -flood control feature is proposed, a copy of the fully
executed interlocai agreement for maintenance of the non -flood control feature is also required). -
2. Engineer shall submit written request and sealed record drawings, certifying inspection under the
supervision of a licensed Texas professional engineer, to the Harris County Flood Control District, Property
Management Dept., requesting inspection and acceptance of items constructed in Harris County Flood
Control District right-of-way or public drainage easement, Prior to requesting inspection, the Hams County
Flood Control District right-of-way and/or public drainage easements must be staked and flagged.
3. Protect, maintain and restore existing backslope drainage systems.
4. Backslope Swale and interceptor structure elevations and locations shown in theses plans are approximate.
Final elevations and locations shall be field verified by the engineer prior to installation.
