UTILITY INFORMATION SHOWN HEREON IS BASED ON
FIELD SURVEYS AND PLAN INFORMATION AVAILABLE TO THE
ENGINEER. TO THE BEST OF THE ENGINEERS KNOWLEDGE
THE INFORMATION IS COMPLETE AND CORRECT. OCCASIONALLY
SOME UTILITY EXISTS WHICH FOR WHATEVER REASON IS NOT
REFLECTED HEREON. TO INSURE THAT THE ENGINEER HAS
ADEQUATE TIME TO RESOLVE ANY CONFLICTS OR SURPRISES
THAT MAY BE ENCOUNTERED IT IS REQUESTED THAT THE
CONTRACTOR DIG TEST TRENCHES VERY EARLY IN THE
PROJECT AND CONFIRM THAT ALL GRAVITY UTILITY LINES AS
DESIGNED WILL WORK. ANY CONFLICTS THAT MAY BE
ENCOUNTERED ARE TO BE REPORTED TO THE ENGINEER FOR
ASSISTANCE IN RESOLVING. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THIS TEST
TRENCH BE PERFORMED WELL BEFORE THE PLUMBING
CONTRACTOR CONTEMPLATES CONSTRUCTING THE UTILITY SO
THAT MAXIMUM DESIGN FLEXIBILITY EXISTS IN SOLVING THE
CONFLICT. FAILURE TO PERFORM THIS TEST TRENCH AS
REQUESTED WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF CONTRACTOR RIGHTS TO
CLAIM ANY EXTRAS FOR LOST TIME ON THE PROJECT.
LIKEWISE SHOULD THE CONTRACTOR START LAYING THE UTILITY
FROM THE HIGH END AND SUBSEQUENTLY DISCOVER A
CONFLICT AT THE STREET AND HAS NOT PERFORMED THE
REQUESTED TEST TRENCH THEN IN THAT EVENT ALL EXTRA
COSTS TO RESOLVE THE CONFLICT SHALL BE BORNE BY THE
CONTRACTOR.
NOTE:
I. CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY ALL FLOWLINE ELEVATIONS
48 HOURS PRIOR TO COMMENCING ANY CONSTRUCTION.
IF A DESCREPANCY IS DISCOVERED, THE CONTRACTOR
SHALL CONTACT THE ENGINEER IMMEDIATELY FOR
INSTRUCTIONS.
2. REFER TO DETAIL SHEET FOR ADDITONAL NOTES AND INFORMATION.
3. OWNER TO OBTAIN ALL PERMITS REQUIRED BY HARRIS COUNTY,TEXAS
PRIOR TO STARTING CONSTRUCTION OF UTILITY AND/OR CULVERTS
WITHIN HARRIS COUNTY ROAD RIGHTS OF WAYS.
