<br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. e <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 75- 3 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING TIlE MAYOR AS RESPONSIBLE OFFICER; TIlE DIRECTOR <br />OF FINANCE AS FISCAL OFFICER AND DEDICATING CERTAIN LAND FOR OUTDOOR <br />RECREATION PURPOSES. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of La Porte, Texas, a municipal corporation, <br /> <br />deems it necessary and proper to apply for a Land and Water Conservation <br />Grant under Public Law 88-578 and the rules and regulations pursuant <br />thereto: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Conunission of the City <br /> <br />of La Porte that E. A. Thomas, Mayor, or his successor, is hereby <br /> <br />appointed as the responsible officer having the authority to represent <br />and act for the City of La Porte in dealing with the Texas Parks and <br />Wildlife Department for purposes of this program; that Larry Broussard, <br /> <br />Director of Finance, or his successor, is hereby appointed as the <br /> <br />Fiscal Officer to receive Federal Funds for purposes of this program; <br /> <br />that certain l5.4 acre site known as Fairmont Park is hereby dedicated <br />solely for the purpose of outdoor recreation. <br />PASSED AND APPROVED, this l6tl'tlay of June, 1975. <br /> <br />CITY OF LA PORTE <br />, ~ <br />By~~,~hJ..4 <br />E.
