SALVAGED PIPES, VALVES, FITTINGS, CONTROLS, WIRING, AND OTHER SUITABLE MATERIALS CITY OF LA PORTE FOR ANY VALVE OPERATION NECESSARY FOR THIS PROJECT. NOT REUSED IN THESE IMPROVEMENTS SHALL BE DELIVERED TO THE CITY'S YARD. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL VERIFY THAT PROPER NOTICES HAVE BEEN PROVIDED TO CONTRACTOR SHALL CONTACT THE CITY FOR THE ADDRESS OF THE RECIEVING LOCATION. AND ALL OTHER UTILITIES (NEW OR EXSTING). 36. ENGINEER WILL INSPECT WET WELL FOR DAMAGE AFTER DEMOLITION HAS BEEN COMPLETED. 17. ALL EXCAVATED AREAS SHALL BE BARRICADED AT ALL TIMES TO PREVENT MOTORISTS FROM INADVERTENTLY DRIVING INTO BORE PITS, OPEN CUTS, AND TRENCHES. ALL EXCAVATION MUST ALSO BE CORDONED OFF WITH 4-FOOT HIGH ORANGE CONSTRUCTION SEQUENCE: POLYETHYLENE FENCE WITH MESH SIZE 2.50 INCHES BY 0.80 INCH, TENAX BEACON OR APPROVED EQUAL, INSTALLED PER MANUFACTURERS RECOMMENDATIONS AND 1. EXISTING LIFT STATION NO. 6 SHALL REMAIN ON LINE AND BE UTILIZED AS THE BYPASS ACCEPTABLE TO THE CITY OF LA PORTE. THE FENCE SHALL BE SUPPORTED WITH DURING THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NEW LIFT STATION No. 6. ENOUGH INTERMEDIATE SUPPORT TO AVOID EXCESSIVE SAGGING. THE FENCE MAY BE TIED TO TRAFFIC BARRICADES WHERE EXCAVATION EXTENDS BEYOND OR IS LOCATED 2. CONTRACTOR SHALL INSTALL NEW WET WELL PER THE CONTRACT SPECIFICATIONS. ENTIRELY BEHIND THE EXISTING BACK -OF -CURB OR EDGE OF PAVEMENT. ADEQUATE BARRICADES WITH FLASHING YELLOW LIGHTS SHALL ALSO BE PROVIDED TO PROTECT 3. PUMPS MUST BE INSPECTED BY CITY REPRESENTATIVE PRIOR TO INSTALLATION. PEDESTRIAN TRAFFIC. 4. TELEVISED INSPECTION OF ALL GRAVITY SEWER LINES WILL BE PROVIDED TO CITY ON DVD 18. CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE NECESSARY MEASURES TO INSURE THAT LIGHT STANDARDS PRIOR TO FINAL ACCEPTANCE. AUGUSTINE SOD OR GRASS WHICH MATCHES THE GRASS REMOVED. CenterPoint Energy Gas Facilities - CENTERPOINT ENERGY Notify CenterPoint Energy at (713) 675-7450 after uncovering any abandoned gas lines. Do not disturb gas lines until CenterPoint Energy has verified status of line. CAUTION: UNDERGROUND GAS FACILITIES Locations of CenterPoint Energy main lines (to include CenterPoint Energy, Intrastate Pipeline, LLC. where applicable) are shown in an approximate location only. Service lines are usually not shown. Our signature on these plans only indicates that our facilities are shown in approximate location. It does not imply that a conflict analysis has been made. The contractor is fully responsible for any damages caused by his failure to exactly locate and preserve these underground facilities. CenterPoint Energy Power Facilities WARNING: OVERHEAD ELECTRICAL LINES Overhead lines may exist on the property. The location of overhead lines has not been shown on these drawings as the lines are clearly visible, but you should locate them prior to beginning any construction. Texas law, Section 752, Health & Safety Code forbids activities that occur in close proximity to high voltage lines, specifically: • An activity where person or things may come within six(6) feet of live overhead high voltage lines; and • Operating a crone, derrick, power shovel, drilling rig, pile driver, hoisting equipment, or similar apparatus within 10 feet of live overhead high voltage lines. Parties responsible for the work, including contractors, are legally responsible for safety of construction workers under this law.' This law carries both criminal and civil liability.
