KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That the undersigned Doheny Texas Properties, LLC (represented by Jack L. Doheny),
(hereinafter called "Grantor"), for and in the consideration of the sum of TEN DOLLARS
($10.00) in hand paid and other good valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of
which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby grant, bargain, sell, warrant and convey unto the I jJ I?
CITY OF LA PORTE a municipal corporation of Harris County (hereinafter called "Grantee"), a 1-..JC..,./
perpetual easement to, at any time and from time to time, construct, maintain, inspect and repair
a drainage easement. The herein easement shall have an overall permanent width of forty feet
(40'). This easement is dedicated solely for the location of an above and below ground
drainage swale/apparatus as described: -;--.....
A forty foot (40') wide strip of land along the north line of Tracts 19, 20, 21 B & 22B of La U
Porte Outlots, Harris County, Texas
The Grantor(s) further grants and conveys to the Grantee the right of ingress/egress on
and through the forty feet (40') strip of land for all purposes necessary or incidental to exercise
the rights herein granted as well as the most direct access to the easement from Grantor's
private property. The forty foot (40') easement shall be reserved exclusively for the location of
an above and below ground drainage swale/apparatus.
Grantor reserves the right to use and enjoy said lands except as may be necessary for
purposes herein granted, provided Grantor shall not construct or permit to be constructed any
structure, reservoir or any other obstruction or excavation on, over or within said permanent
easement. However, Grantor specifically reserves the right for perpendicular crossings of
Grantee's easement with pipelines, roads, streets, driveways, water lines, sanitary sewer lines
and other utilities or facilities and to be constructed as not to interfere with Grantee's above
ground swale.
The terms and provisions hereof shall be binding upon and shall insure to the benefit of
heirs, personal representatives, successors and assigns of Grantor and Grantee.

2.686 acre tract, South 86° 50' 59" West, 622.43 feet to a S/8-inch iron rod with plastic cap
stamped "LJA ENG" set for corner, on the common line of Outlots 18 and 19 of said La Porte
Outlots and the west line of said 7.9292 acre tract;
Thence, along said common line and the west line of said 7.9292 acre tract, North 03"
13' 1S" West, 40.00 feet to a SIB-inch iron rod with cap found marking the southwest corner of
said 2.686 acre tract, from which a found Si8-inch iron rod bears North 03° 13' is" East, 187.89
feet;
Thence, leaving said common line, and along the south line of said 2.686 acre tract,
North 86° 50' 59" East, 620.46 feet to the POINT OF BEINNING and containing 0.571 acre
(24,858 square feet) of land.
