Per terms of the “Settlement Agreement” of December 31, 2009 (attached) between Hall and La Porte:
• Cliff Hall has submitted a letter to the City requesting to close the N. Iowa and N. “E” St. Rights-
of-Way and the Alley of Block 436, La Porte.
• Upon receiving City’s approval to file a closing application, Hall submitted closing application &
$750 application fee.
• Hall amended his application to close only the alley of Block 436, La Porte.
• Upon notification by City of administrative completion of his application, Hall deposited escrow
funds in the amount of $14,400 with the City to purchase the alley in Block 436, La Porte.
• Upon Council’s approval of his closing request, Hall has 45 days to submit a certified site plan
and a replat of his property for City review/approval.
• Upon City’s approval of site plan and replat, Hall will be allowed to apply for a building permit to
construct an 8’ tall non-transparent fence along the perimeter of his property as well as a permit
to construct a new 40’ wide driveway along his property’s frontage to North Broadway.
