AN ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR SUPPORT OF THE GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS, FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1970 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1971, AND LEVYING A TAX OF $.92 ON EACH $100.00 OF ASSESSED VALUE OF ALL REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY LOCATED WITHIN SAID CITY. ' BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS: . Section 1. For the purpose of provi~i~g a bu~get for the fiscal year beginni~g October 1, 1970 and endi~g September 30, 1971, an Ad Valorem Tax of $.92 on each $100.00 of assessed value of all real and personal property located within the City of La Porte is hereby levied and such tax shall be collected under and by the authority of this City and of the State of Texas, and the sums set forth below be and the same are hereby appropi- ated for the maintenance, operation and improvement of the Government of the City of La Porte, and the same shall be strictly applied for the several purposes and in the respective amounts hereinafter specified. Section 2. That the amounts appropriated and the purposes for which the same shall be spent be as follows: e.
