COUNTS, <br />SR., AND APPOINTING JAMES B. WILLIAMSON AS JUDGE OF THE CITY <br />OF LA PORTE MUNICIPAL COURT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE <br />HEREOF. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY. THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE: <br /> <br />Section 1. The City Commission of the City of La Porte <br /> <br />hereby approves the retirement of George H. Counts, Sr., as <br /> <br />Judge of the .City of La'.Porte Municipal Court, effective <br /> <br />October 31, 1971. <br /> <br />Section 2. The City Commission of the City of La Porte <br /> <br />hereby appoints James B. Williamson, a duly licensed attorney- <br /> <br />at-law residing in the City of La Porte, as Judge of the <br /> <br />City of La Porte Municipal Court, effective November 1, 1971, <br /> <br />for the term ending April 30, 1972; provided, however, the <br /> <br />said James B. Williamson shall serve until his successor <br /> <br />shall have been duly', appointed and have qualified. <br /> <br />Section 3. The said James B. Williamson shall receive a <br /> <br />monthly salary of Three Hundred Dollars ($300.00) for his <br /> <br />services as Judge of the Municipal Court. <br /> <br />Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in <br /> <br />force from and after its passage and approval, and it is so <br /> <br />ordained. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED, this the 11th day of October, <br /> <br />A.D. 1971. <br /> <br />~ , <br /> <br />\ <br /> <br />.~ ~; 0:..
