AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A PERMIT UNDER SECTION l8-A-3 OF ORDINANCE
NO. 915, "PIPELINE TRANSPORTATION," BEING CHAPTER l8-A OF THE
CODE OF ORD1NANCES OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE, TEXAS; AND APPROVING
THE APPLICATION OF SOUTH TEXAS PIPELINE COMPANY, DATED MARCH 14,
1979, TO CONSTRUCT AN EIGHT-INCH ETHYLENE PIPELINE AND A SIX-INCH
PROPYLENE PIPELINE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF LA PORTE:
Section 1. The City Conwission of ,the City of La Porte has
received an application dated March 14, 1979, from South Texas
Pipeline Company, requesting a permit under Section l8-A-3 of
Ordinance No. 915, being Chapter l8-A of the Code of Ordinances

of the City of La Porte, to construct an eight-inch ethylene
pipeline and a six-inch propylene pipeline crossing the City of
La Porte, all as shown on said application. The application of
South Texas Pipeline ,Company has been reviewed by the City's
Director of Public Works, who has found that said application
meets all requirements of said Ordinance No. 915, and has recom-
mended its approval.
Section 2. The City Commission of the city of La Porte hereby
approves the application of South Texas Pipeline Company, dated
March 14, 1979, and this Ordinance shall constitute a permit to
South Texas Pipeline Company to lay and construct said pipelines
f~ within the City of La Porte, all in conformance with the requirements
of said Ordinance No. 915.
